Childrens Registered Manager 

Our client is currently looking for a dynamic Childrens Registered Manager  to lead and manage a home, delivering high-quality care and outcomes alongside the home’s statement of purpose.

The childrens registered manager will  support in a 4 x bed home for young people with learning disabilities, we are seeking a committed, enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead this new service with the children at the heart of what they do.

Job description:

Have full responsibility for the management of services

Compliance with all legal & regulatory requirements

Ensuring that the staff team have all skills, experience and qualifications required to meet the needs of each young person placed in the home.

Produce monitoring reports and evaluations in keeping with organizational policies and procedures.

To ensure that each young person has individual care and planning which is tailored their specific needs and requirements.

To maintain and build professional relationships with multi-agency and multi-disciplinary partnerships around the young people involved.

Qualifications & Education

Level 5 Diploma in leadership and management for Children’s services, equivalent or prepared to work towards this.

A commitment to continued professional development

Experience

Relevant & recent experience working as a Childrens Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s home

Management and supervision experience

Working with young people, children and their families

Inter-agency work

Knowledge and Understanding

Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards 2015, Single Social Care Inspection Framework (SSCIF), Children Act 1989, Children and Families Act 2014, Care Standards Act 2000, Children Act 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2015, Health and Safety at work and associated guidance and regulation.

Policies and procedures pertaining to running a residential children’s home.
