Job Title – Commercial Manager

Industry – Just Interiors Recruitment

Location – Milton Keynes

Salary – 65,000 – 80,000

The Client

My Client are a Drylining subcontractor based in Milton Keynes. Their main sectors are Education, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, and Residential New Builds. They have an excellent understanding of the market specialising in all aspects of Drylining such as Ceilings & Acoustic Solutions, all types of Partitions, Fire Protection as well as SFS and METSEC.

The Role

* Ability to effectively oversee a team managing all stages of commercial process.

* Effective internal and external communicator.

* Excellent presentation skills.

* Understanding of most types of contracts and all commercial elements of the business.

* Excellent Client facing skills is a must.

* Ability to develop new clients and win new business.

* Experience of managing the pre & post contract process.

* Accountable at senior management level.

* Excellent understanding of risk analysis including business risk.

* Attendance and contribution at Divisional Meetings.

* Proven report writing skills.

* Commercially and technically aware.

* Experience in all forms of construction.

* Ability to closely monitor with Senior Managers, Client service levels and instigate improvements.

The Candidate

* You will be ideally located in / around North London or Hertfordshire

* You will have a hands-on approach with the ability to develop internal/external relationships

* Must be able to develop new business and bring new clients to the table

* As the Commercial Manager you will have an extensive knowledge of a Joinery manufacturing industry.

* Ideally from an interiors sub-contractor background or from a main contracting company that delivers similar packages, you will preferably have a network of existing sub-contractors and clients on which to call.

* You will come from a Senior Quantity Surveyor or already be at Commercial Manager level.
