Campaigns Manager

Rate: £325 – £400 (PAYE Umbrella)
Location: Buckinghamshire
A Campaigns Manager is required to join a Rail Client in their offices in Buckinghamshire. You will be able to demonstrate a good mix of marketing/agency management knowledge and tactical comms experience such as writing newsletters, web content, comms admin etc. You will be mainly focussed around agency management /relationship management which involves creative services framework of 8 agencies and one paid media agency.
Agency management work:
*Agency management systems – work in progress tracker, teams and yammer support networks and file sharing.
*Agency management touchpoints.
*Monthly catch ups with agencies – check in, discuss work, escalation.
*Annual reviews – colleague feedback survey and use of scorecards to monitor performance.
*All agency working group – to discuss ways of working and share best practice.
*Reporting.
*Regular contact with procurement to discuss issues/spend etc.
*Reports for senior leaders on projects completed, brand approvals, spend, savings etc.
Internal agency promotion:
*Work to educate colleagues on the correct processes to follow and agencies they can use.
*Support agencies to promote themselves to key communication stakeholders. Includes writing quarterly newsletter, managing intranet content and organising lunch and learn sessions.
*Approving all purchase reqs which come in to creative services and push back to routes/stakeholders that don't follow rules.
*Sign off on all spend.
Safety projects:
*Support safety campaigns and comms projects. May involve project managing projects that include outputs from various agencies (e.g. creative, paid media, merchandise, print and website agencies), getting buy in from route colleagues (comms or safety), supporting channels teams, reporting into central safety teams and content creation.
Experience required:
*Knowledge of marketing or comms. Not necessarily a particular industry background.
*Agency and comms is main criteria.
*People person- willing to go out a speak to other people.
*Stakeholder management.
*Budget management.
*General project management is always useful.
*Willing to challenge.
*Collaboration- bring people together.
*Understand marketing language.
*Creative/marketing agency background.
