n Electronics Design Engineer is sought for a 3-4 week contract in Buckinghamshire

Involved in all aspects of product design and development you will be responsible for: –

Development of new Hardware products
Support of existing Hardware portfolio
Design of test and calibration equipment
Create user-friendly interfaces
Project planning and product costing
Write specifications and technical reports
The successful candidate will have a selection of the following skills: –

Hardware

Design of low power battery circuits
Microcontroller based design
Analogue Design
Schematic capture
PCB Layout
Fault-Finding
Software/ Firmware

C/C++ Embedded design
Familiarity with SPI/I2C/UART protocols
Well documented & commented code
Firmware Test Procedures
You will also have the ability to create test procedures & rigs and carry out product evaluation
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are important as are good spoken and written communication skills
