We are seeking a customer focused individual to join our successful and valued internal sales team to sell Esri products and solutions to new customers. This is a fairly junior role that will give you the opportunity to hone your sales skills and opens up great future career opportunities within Esri UK

The Position:
Reporting to the Head of Internal Sales, you will be responsible for growing sales over the phone to new customers across a range of sectors. Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Identifying, researching, qualifying and initiating new business opportunities and proactively undertaking business development with new customers
* Engage and build trust with new customers, setting the foundations for strong future business relationships
* Build and maintain a quality sales pipeline, generating enough sales to deliver annual targets
* Maintain accurate and timely sales pipeline reporting and forecasting, ensuring all data is up to date
* Ensure that sales proposals include the required level or margin and an acceptable cost of sale
* Identify and close sales which include and maximise the full range of Esri products, including professional services, training and data where required to support the customer to be successful
* Always put the customer first, really understanding and communicating their requirements across the business
About you:

* Have previous experience of finding, engaging and selling to new customers combined with account management and consultative selling
* Are great at networking and negotiating, with an engaging telephone manner and the ability to communication with decision makers and buyers at all levels
* Always seek to understand a customers’ business problems, using your listening and analytical skills to find the best solution to meet their needs.
* Are commercially astute and able to understand and manage the cost of sale
* You are a self-starter, with the ability motivate yourself to success and achieve sales targets
* Have good interpersonal skills, developing strong working relationships with both clients and colleagues
* A good understanding of Esri products, GIS trends and how GIS can be used to solve business problems would be an advantage, however it is essential that you have the ability to learn the Esri product stack, and then to be able to identify customer needs and opportunities
* Are ideally educated to degree level or have equivalent role relevant experience
* Are currently resident in the UK with unrestricted entitlement to work here
