Children Support Worker – Full Time Temp to Perm
I am recruiting for a National provider within the Children Services sector. The ideaI candidate will be looking for a career in Youth Support Work. My client follows the ethos of helping to support and guide vulnerable young people and encourages a supportive and nurturing environment.
The Clients projects are semi-independent living services and promoting independence, encouraging creativity and relationship building – these are key aspects of the role. As a Support Worker, You will be contributing to the progress and development of the young people whilst monitoring the individual support plans.
This is a full-time role and you will be working as part of a team on a shift pattern including paid sleep in’s.
Requirements:
You will maintain a nurturing, positive and safe living environment within the unit, in order to meet the needs of the Young People. You will be alert to the needs, safety and wellbeing of the Young People.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of support work with children or young people however we will consider support workers from aligned sectors.
Requirements:
Possess excellent people skills
Have a passion for supporting young people with emotional behavioural difficulties
Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships
Be able to demonstrate positive personal authority
Have great communication skills
Driver with own transport due to locations (desirable)
Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (desirable)
