Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Buyer based in Milton Keynes for a well-established manufacturing company.

The role…

As the Buyer your role will involve the following important duties:

Assist the Supply Chain Manager in the management of the company's supplier base, building long term relationships with high quality suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards
Negotiate price and availability of raw materials including electronic components and other items
Carry out material price benchmarking
Analysis of supply V demand utilising MRP and other reports with particular responsibility for non-electronic items and non-production items, ensuring stock availability of raw materials
The experience required…

As a successful Buyer, you will have the following:

Experience of purchasing raw materials and electronic components
Good communication and negotiation skills
Able to adapt to change, self-motivate and think on your feet
Have 2-5 years' experience in a similar role
Ideally be CIPS level qualified or above

Hours – full time Monday – Friday
