Everyday Loans is a market leader within the financial services sector providing sub-prime loans in over 70 branches across the UK and currently has an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the team reporting into the Financial Controller.

This role is a new position due to the growth of the business and the role will support in the periodic production of all management and regulatory reporting across the Group. This will be done in accordance with the relevant accounting procedures and practices encompassing IFRS.
Key Responsibilities
* Support for all aspects of the production of the management accounts and finance packs
* Support on the annual budget and periodic forecast processes
* Production of the Group's annual accounts at interim and year-end
* Provide technical accounting guidance for ad-hoc queries raised by the business
* Production of year end corporation tax packs
* Liaising with external and internal auditors
* Work with the wider financial accounting team to continually drive process improvements and standards in financial control across the Group
Person Specification & Qualifications
You will ideally be professionally qualified ACCA/ACA with a strong background in Accountancy or part-qualified with strong financial accounting experience. Numeracy and good communication skills are also key alongside a good eye for detail. Strong Excel skills are essential.
* ACA/ACCA part/fully qualified
* Driven, ambitious, able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Technically strong, used to working under IFRS standards
* Experience of reporting credit losses under IFRS 9 a distinct advantage
* A brilliant communicator able to build relationships with senior stakeholders
