Supply Advanced Team Operative

Pay rate: £10.59- £11.39 per hour, £15.89 per hour for an overtime
Shifts: 12 hours shifts days and nights, 4 on 4 off
Due to continuous growth a market leading manufacturer of FMCG products is recruiting for a Supply Team Operative for an immediate start. This is a temporary ongoing position with a potential to go perm for the right individual.
As a Supply Team Operative you will be tasked to perform all duties within the Site Supply Function to ensure all loading, storage, rotation and receipt functions of Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Packaging, Waste, are undertaken to achieve the daily Site Supply Plan and ensuring the Warehouse and Raw Material Storage Work environment is audit ready at all times.
Key tasks:
Management of returns process/FIFO ingredients/pallet rotation and cycle count processes and audits.
Management of automation equipment, data and function to minimise impact on supply requirements or OEE performance.
Competent at completing traceability exercises.
Supporting role in internal audit activities and new product trials.
Operating Materials Handling Equipment in accordance with Company MHE Standards.
Accurately completing all monitoring systems required by the Company in accordance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards.
Reporting any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and supporting corrective action activities.
Ability to motivate/manage team members to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
Working as a key member of the Site Supply team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
Pro-actively identifying areas for continuous improvement within the work environment/equipment/systems.
Demonstrating a willingness to develop within the role to achieve Excellent Competency Levels.
An ideal candidate will have great understanding and ability to work in accordance with the company policies and H&S standards. Must have previous experience of working within FMCG Supply/ Warehouse environment and must be IT literature. Good numeracy and literacy skills, and MHE (including Reach) Licenses are essential. Understanding of Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing Approaches will be an additional advantage.
