This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bodyshop Multi Skilled Paint Technician / SMART Repairer to join a leading Accident Repair centre.

Dealing with wide range of vehicles you must be productive and work to a high standard.
Manufacturer approvals, Fleet and Insurance contracts keep this site very busy.

To rise to the challenge, you will need to be fully skilled and have previous workshop experience combined with a NVQ 3, ATA accreditation, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.

Key role and responsibilities as a Bodyshop Multi Skilled Paint Technician / SMART Repairer

Carrying out a variety of aspects within a bodyshop
Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
Paint Spraying
Panel Beating / Strip and Fit
Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction
Planning work and ordering parts to ensure vehicles are ready when promised. Minimum requirements as a Bodyshop Multi Skilled Paint Technician / SMART Repairer

At least 2 years' experience as an automotive Panel / MET / Paint
ATA/ NVQ certification is advantageous but not essential
Experience in Paint Spraying
Panel Beating / Strip and Fit
Strong attention to detail
A fast and accurate worker
Highly organised with a flexible approach to working patterns
An ability to work independently while remaining part of a team
An ability to take instruction
A clean and tidy worker
An awareness of health & safety regulations and best practices surrounding paint booths.

£15 p/h – £17 p/h + Bonus
