Opportunity Overview
The Implementation Project Officer will support the implementation of proprietary technology platforms, assisting in delivering a high-quality product to all stakeholders on budget, on scope and on time. Internally, the Project Officer will support the team of Project Managers and will need to complete key tasks relating to the implementation of our products, liaising across a range of departments. Good interpersonal skills are, therefore, essential. Initially, these will focus on customers in and surrounding London. The role will initially be office-based.
The Project Officer will work as part of the Implementation team and report to the Implementation Director. The implementation team has close links with System Administration and Business Analysis who all report to the Implementation Director.
Responsibilities:
The maintaining of project collateral
Updating project tracking documents, issue logs and risk registers
Ensuring meeting minutes are made, actions assigned, and progress tracked
Data validation
Supporting change management efforts with all key stakeholders
Supporting client and supplier briefing presentations during an implementation
Supporting client and supplier training sessions during an implementation
Analysis and validation of system configuration data from the client’s project team
Implementation and pre-Go-Live system testing
Supporting Post-Implementation-Reviews and updating our Lessons Learned Log
The Person
Interest in working in the field of project management
Willingness and ability to work in Milton Keynes daily
Willingness and ability to travel to clients across the UK when required
Own mode of transport and driving licence
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
Possess analytical and lateral thinking with strong problem-solving skills
Good attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Organised and Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
A dynamic, honest, and confident personality
A willingness to learn and a drive to succeed
An intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office SharePoint including MS Excel & MS Word
Training
Initially, the role will be admin heavy (taking minutes, checking data on spreadsheets etc), but will gradually ramp up to cover more of the aspects of the project manager role in the business so there is scope for progression
Training and guidance on different aspects of the role will be provided, but there will be a high level of independent work required. The role builds the foundations towards the Project Manager position
