About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager for a section of our project between Aylesbury and Brackley.
The role is a senior position within the commercial team for each section of our project. The overall project is split in to 5 sections each with a value circa £300M/£400M you’ll be responsible for managing / developing the commercial team to successfully deliver the commercial aspects of contracts to meet the projects plan. Working closely with the commercial leads, senior quantity surveyors and quantity surveyors to maximise commercial opportunities where possible both up and down the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Maximise cash flow through the control, measurement and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers
Produce monthly Cost Value reports
Drive the development and expansion of the supply chain to support the optimal delivery of current contracts, and provide opportunities and capacity for growth into new contracts.
Ensure contract commercial deliverables and timescales.
Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
Responsible for ensuring works are valued, including any variation thereto, in accordance with the contract and analyses to determine the project True Value.
Ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised.
