Essential Skills
4+ years International mail and courier Commercial experience.
Ability to establish, lead and maintain effective and valuable working relationships externally with our carrier partners, also with clients and internally with colleagues.
Manage the Commercial team to develop skills and expertise, including in areas where this may be in an early development stage within Whistl (e.g. carrier daily and weekly performance management).
Advanced level of analytical and numerical ability, including quantitative modelling. Able to analyse data, make inferences, draw conclusions and make recommendations to inform decision making by the business.
Strong level of financial awareness, able to understand the impact on the profitability of the business based upon decisions regarding pricing and discounts applied to customers whilst taking into account the operational costs and contribution requirements of the business.
High level of attention to detail enabling management of accurate analysis and control of data input and output.
Ability to meet agreed deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and negotiate deliverables with key stakeholders.
Experience of working with sales teams on the production of complex prospect proposals and tenders.
Ability to analyse complex information clearly and concisely and produce trend analysis based on the data.
High level of fluency in software operating systems, such as MS Office 2013 (excel, word, access, visio, PowerPoint) and customer relationship management systems.
Good knowledge of Whistl products and services.
Understanding of the inbound and outbound international marketplace.About Company
