Our client who specialise in Nurse call and staff attack systems are currently looking to experience their service team with an experience Field Service Engineer.
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to –
Development of the service department customer base, both existing and new
Service and repair of all systems manufactured or supplied by our client (staff attack and nurse call), nationwide
Preventative maintenance inspections
Surveys, estimating
Technical assistance to customers and/or engineers by telephone
Installation work – small additions not whole hospitals
Out-of-hours service cover, service calls, providing telephone assistance, arranging sub-contractor assistance. This is based on a weekly rota system (subject to amendment to cover holiday periods/sickness leave etc.)
On-site technical back up to our sub contractors and/or other installation companies
Administrative duties when requiredknowledge of networking would be desirable. Somebody confident with network infrastructure and configuration will be useful on customers sites and at our clients. Knowledge of Microsoft server environment and raspberry PIs (Rasbian/Linux) would also be desirable.
You will be on call 1 in 3 however this may be subject to change, standard hours of work are 08:30am – 5:00pm.
