Build Space UK require experienced POLERS in Aylesbury, England.

Our client is expanding their offering on the back of winning new patches and extending existing large contracts for the next 7 years. In a time of major growth for my client, they are on the hunt for hard working poling operatives / gangs who will grasp the opportunity to excel on the platform provided, combined with a market leading daily / weekly work schedule to bolster your earning potential.

Poling Operative – Roles &Responsibilities:

Installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles

Replacing/renewing existing drop-wires

Replacing/renewing overhead and UG joints

Transportation of Poles to and from site.

Completing Job Specific risk assessment

Dropwire and Ariel cable termination/renewal

Copper jointing

Completion of Reinstatement

SLG

Poler Experience required:

Flexible and have the availability to work away from home – If required

Have a full Clean UK licence

One person in the crew will require a HGV Class 2 licence)

Pole Erection Unit and HIAB experience

Self-motivated, achievement orientated and be able to stay calm in pressure situations

Excellent time management

Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients and representatives

Results driven, with the drive to succeed in difficult situations

Have previous experience of the installation and removal of Poles in a Telecommunications environment

Working experience on overhead and underground network

Hold full NRSWA Street-works qualifications at operative level

Accreditations required or previously held:

POLING

RC1, BTSEC03, MT003, A8/SA001, A9/SA002, A11

G01, G02, Full Streetworks /SWQR accreditation
