Daily Rate: up to £97.54 LTD/UMB (£85.16 PAYE)
This role is IN SCOPE of IR35
Job Purpose:
To provide a proficient office administrative service to the Programme.
Key Accountabilities:
Procure and provide office furniture, electronic and telecommunication equipment, and associated items and services, to meet the Programme's needs and manage respective on-going maintenance.
Assist in managing office safety to create a safe working environment, compliant with health & safety policies and procedures.
Advise staff on use of electronic equipment and matters relating to administration and document control.
Liaise with Building Facilities Management and others as necessary to resolve office maintenance issues, and accommodation requirements.
Communicate with IM Team and users with regard to all matters pertaining to in-house Information Technology.
Maintain and update the office telephone directory of all Programme personnel.
Co-ordinate the use of the Network Rail Purchasing Card for small office related purchases (includes stationary). Reconcile the card's monthly statements.
Provide a comprehensive administrative service as directed.Skills Required:
Essential
Previous experience in all aspects office administration
Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey information and instruction in a concise and confident manner.
Possess diplomacy and negotiating skills in order to gain co-operation and reach successful conclusions.
Have a well-organised and methodical approach to monitor that all activities are completed within required timescales.Desirable
Knowledge of Network Rail procedures for procurement and other administration matters.
Knowledge of the Project Delivery process.
Awareness of HSE regulations relating to an office environment
