Job Profile:
As a global brand in the queue management industry, we are looking for an Export Account Manager to provide sales support and first-class customer service within our growing Export Team. The role is based at our global head office in Milton Keynes and will support the Export Sales Manager and our European subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have previous sales administration experience as well as language skills – ideally German or French speaking.
Key Tasks:
* Provide quotations and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
* Processing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
* Liaising with internal departments such as operations, logistics, purchasing and product design.
* Field general in-bound international sales enquiries, assigning to field sales or International distribution partners.
* Provide proactive sales calls to support sales target achievement, budget and initiatives.
* Build extensive knowledge of customer base, sector and contacts.
* Build long-term relationships with customers and distribution partners.
* Ensure customers receive follow-up calls for new product deliveries and 3 monthly progress calls.
* Ensure customers are fully briefed on the latest product initiatives and promotions.
* Ensure quality concerns and credit notes are processed in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous sales and customer service experience within a target driven environment.
* Ability to communicate clearly and precisely in written and spoken correspondence with International customers.
* Fluency in English, written and spoken, plus one or more of the other major European languages (i.e. German, French, Italian, Spanish) highly desirable.
* Highly efficient clerical attributes and interpersonal skills.
* Numeracy skills.
* Excellent PC skills.
* Previous experience of working with an ERP system i.e. SAP or Epicor.
