Learning support assistant

Do you have a passion for working with special needs students?

Protocol Education are looking for a highly motivated individual to help support as a teaching assistant in one of the schools in Chesham Buckinghamshire Our clients' aim is to make everyone feel welcome and ensure they are treated with respect and are therefore looking for a candidate who can be a positive role model and has a real passion for special needs.

Although no experience is needed, previously working in education, care home or schools would be beneficial.

About the role:
-Supporting children who have autism and complex needs
-Daily rate between £60-£75
-Working hours of (phone number removed)pm for 5 days a week.

Specific duties:
-Reporting and evaluation individual student progression.
-Helping children identify and acknowledge socially acceptable patterns of behaviour.
-Work towards building a secure and stable environment for each child to grow.
-Develop home/school relationships towards children and their families.

Requirements:
-Strong team player with relevant experience of working in a childcare/support working setting.
-Passionate about working in SEN and confidence in providing students to work at their full potential.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS or on the update system.
