Role – Employment Lawyer (6-month FTC)
Salary – £40,000 – £100,000 per annum (Dependant on PQE)
Location – High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (travel to London and client sites essential, access to own car essential)

Atlas Employment is pleased to present the opportunity to an individual for an Employment Lawyer in a prestigious legal firm on a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential for it to either extend or go permanent. Our client has just obtained a new high-speed contact where precision and organisation is key. The successful candidate will be an individual who possesses a technical mindset, drive and can-do attitude.
What will you be doing as an Employment Lawyer?
Working closely with the Head of Department
Performing fee earning work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm’s quality and risk management procedures
Ensuring proper control of work in progress, billing and cash collection
Developing new work from existing clients
Seeking new clients
Developing and supporting marketing initiatives
Maintaining and nurturing an appropriate network of contacts and referrers
Promoting the firm in professional and personal lives
Maintaining IT skills appropriate to modern legal practice
Travelling to other offices and clients

You should apply for the role of Employment Lawyer if you have…
Experience as an Employment Lawyer – preferably with contacts
Must be 4-5 PQE
Driving licence required
Strong knowledge of advising employers
Highly skilled at managing a high workload and flexible
Experience handling fast paced and high demanding medium to large corporate clients
Counselling plus non contentious experience
Technical expertise and knowledge including TUPE, restructures, employee relations, changing terms and conditions IR35 etc.
Ability to negotiate
Attention to detail and strong written skills
Proficient at fee recording and administration
Easy transport routes from; London, Maidenhead, Slough, Beaconsfield, Amersham, Gerrards Cross, Marlow, Hillingdon
