Retention Advisor

At the heart of our clients' business is a desire to offer their customers a first-class service throughout their customer journey. As a Retention Advisor you will join a high performing outbound Telemarketing department. Working within this integrated function, you will be a crucial part of the loyalty & retention process, arranging the appointments for our customers to visit the retailer network, leading to the future sale of one of their products.
Start Date: Tuesday 1st December 2020
Duration: Initially 6 months – potentially longer, or temp to perm for the right candidate
Hours: Rotational 1 x week Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm and 1 x week 11:00am – 7:30pm
Location: The company is based in Tongwell, Milton Keynes. However, you will be working from home for the time being – all the necessary equipment will be provided
Pay: £11.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Making a high volume of outbound calls to customers (80-100 per day) in a targeted environment.
Providing quality information in respect of the products and services and discussing the customers' different options.
Arranging for the customer to visit a retailer with a view to them making a purchase.
Recording all action points on the customer contact system.
Adhering at all times to the Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act.
Profile of the ideal candidate:
A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role.
Pro-active, engaging and able to hit the ground running.
Enthusiastic about the role and working for the business.
Able to comply with policies and procedures and the handling of data.
Comfortable working in a targeted environment.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to apply a great amount of attention to detail to their work.
