Head of Customer Care, New Homes
A successful and growing New Homes Builder is looking for an experienced manager to lead its client relations function and team, as Head of Customer Care, New Homes, based in High Wycombe.
The Company
The Head of Customer Care, New Homes, will join a company founded 30 years ago and still lead by the original Chairman. This is a family company that has consistently grown to now employ 60 people and work on multiple new home sites across the South, South East and Midlands.
New Home projects range from a handful of units up to 100 or more homes, built to the highest professional standards and catering to the full range of homeowners from private buyers to housing associations.

The Role
This is a senior role reporting directly to the Chairman and overseeing a team of 6 to 7 people. There will be some travel to sites but you will mainly be based in the office near High Wycombe.
Key responsibilities:
Manage a team of Maintenance Operatives, Client Liaisons and an Admin Assistant
Liaise with homeowners and sub-contractors regarding defects and issues
Be the point of contact for all new homeowners from 6 weeks post completion until 2-year warranty expires
Oversee management of some developments ahead of management company being handed over to residents
Deal with applications to make changes to properties within first 5 years – review application
Prepare and provide reports for board meetings, and meet weekly with Chairman
Liaise with accounts department on invoicing and contra-charges
Snag/De-snag properties when/if requiredThe Person
The ideal Head of Customer Care, New Homes will come from a New Build Developer background and have previous experience managing a team.
You must be able to communicate with internal and external departments and work well under pressure.
It is essential you have previous management experience within a very similar environment – this is not an opportunity to step up from a customer liaison position.
