Field Service Engineer (Robotics)
Hours: +45 Hours, Monday-Friday.
Holidays: 24 Days +Bank Holidays, Increased over long service.
Salary: Based on experience, competitive salary.

RMGroup are currently seeking a field and Home based service engineers we specialise in the supply of process and packaging machinery to various industries around the UK, Ireland, and beyond. The company has grown rapidly within the last few years and we are continually looking for aspiring individuals to join our dynamic team.
We are currently seeking a field service engineer with relevant experience and knowledge for the role. The candidate will be home-based, but will be expected to travel all over the UK with opportunities to work internationally also.
Successful Field Service Engineer Candidates will be responsible for:
* Attending customer sites to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to packaging machinery, pallet/product handling conveyors and Robotic systems – primarily ABB/Fanuc.
* Responding to emergency breakdowns, and returning customers back to production by means of fault finding and carrying out repairs to packaging machinery.
* Compiling worksheets detailing elements of service/repair works carried out on-site, including information of parts and consumables used.
* Ensuring all service and repair work is carried out in accordance with RMGroup and customer’s health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
* Responsible for own Health and Safety, conducting task-related Risk Assessments and a safe system of work as necessary.
* Installing / Programming AGV systems. (Training will be provided)
Field Service Engineer Desired Qualifications, Skills, and attributes:
* Previous experience of working on single and three-phase supply, inverters, sensors, control panels, and some basic understanding of PLC programming.
* Previous experience with installing / programming of AGV's desired, although not required.
* Mechanical experience of maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, bearings, and pumps.
* Experience as an operator or maintenance engineer for process and packaging including Robotic automation equipment required.
* Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain customer relationships in order to maintain a high level of customer service.
* Full UK driving license
* Must be willing to work away
RMGroup supply and install machinery in and around the UK, Ireland, and worldwide, therefore candidates will be expected to work away. Applicants must be flexible and adaptable to changing work schedules
