This opportunity is with a fast-paced and entrepreneur minded business backed by a top 300 UK rich-list individual. Looking to rapidly grow a new exciting homewares brand – in particular on-line customer acquisition – they currently require a Head of e-Commerce and Digital Marketing. This is very much a role focused on multi-channel marketing strategy and delivery.
Lead the marketing strategy and plans across all digital channels, ensuring the most appropriate marketing activity and investment that will deliver growth to the business within agreed timescales
To create, plan and implement the marketing strategy, liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders, oversee all website and social media functions as well as oversee PR
To implement and monitor the various marketing activities across all channels in a timely fashion to deliver the business requirements.
Champion the company brand and maintain its integrity and consistency across all executions, including marketing activity, guest communications and PR.
Lead the research and development of the business in terms of new markets and product development.
Work closely with the internal Sales and Operations to manage and motivate the Marketing process
Provide CEO and other Directors with timely and accurate management information to support strategic planning and profitable development of the business.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished digital marketing professional who has previous experience in a similar marketing role working in a SME company environment – someone who has the ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels. Appropriate candidates should have a solid marketing background. They are looking for someone with proven digital marketing experience, including PPC/ SEO marketing and social media experience.
