Information Security Architect

The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Information Security Team as an Architect. This is a new, engaging role where you will develop and implement information security architecture and technology solutions to address the current and emerging information security and compliance requirements of the University.
Reporting directly into the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer, this role will suit an ambitious individual with experience of SAP and cloud security.
The main responsibilities will be to:
1. Review existing security architecture, identify design gaps and recommend security enhancements
2. Lead SAP landscape security strategy and risk management plan
3. Define frameworks, standards and tools to be used across all University environments
4. Serve as Information Security expert and trusted advisor on the University’s Core System Replacement Programme
Skills and experience
* Do you possess a BSc or MA/MSc in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field?
* Are you a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with extensive experience in threat modelling, cyber security, vulnerability management and security testing?
* Do you possess a Certification in SABSA/TOGAF/Zachman and/or other architectural frameworks whilst previously working as an Architect information security?
* Are you a self-starter with the ability to manage a team and implement change through an organisation?
