We are looking for a bright Application Support Consultant who has prior experience supporting accounting software or a background in IT support with bookkeeping or accounting skills. Our client is a global company based in Milton Keynes, with more than 30 offices around the world, 1000 staff in Europe alone, and an excellent reputation. Salary to £35k plus bonus, private healthcare and 5 weeks holiday.

You will have experience in a 1st Line Support role, helping clients or end users with their accounting and / or ERP software queries by telephone, email and remote connection. Or you may be an Implementation Consultant looking to stop travelling and work a regular day.

Ideally you will have worked with software solutions such as Dynamics NAV, Sage 200, Xero Accounting, SAP Business One, Exchequer, Intact ERP, Pegasus Opera, BrightPearl, Kerridge, VCOINS, Yardi, Tramps, Pex, Dynamics GP, SunAccounts, Epicor, Access Dimensions, Agresso, Pinewood, Sage 50, Sage One, Infor or similar.

This is a busy support department backed up by Implementation Consultants, Developers, Project Managers and Pre-Sales people and the company has over 6000 clients. Their software solution is flexible and user friendly and covers accounts, billing, invoicing, lettings, rents, inventory, sales & CRM, property management, asset management and much more.

The main requirement is knowledge of accounting software or the accounting modules of ERP type software solutions. They want someone who is switched-on, has attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, builds strong client relationships and enjoys dealing with people.

You will provide 1st Line Application Support as part of their dynamic team, finding solutions to client queries and escalating where necessary, and keeping your clients happy.
