About The Role
EKFB continues to expand at a blistering pace. With this expansion comes a need to ensure that each and every person that joins us is brought onboard in a controlled, welcoming and supportive manner. At this pivotal moment of joining any new company, the Onboarding Coordinator takes the leading role ensuring that every aspect of joining EKFB is as welcoming and seamless as possible. Fundamentally, your role is to champion and ensure that every new employee starts their career with us with the best possible introductions.
You will report into the Senior Onboarding Co-Ordinator and work closely with hiring managers, recruitment teams, HR teams, you will take responsibility for all onboarding activities up to and beyond a new employee’s 1st day.
Your role starts as we wait for our new employee to join us. You will become their primary contact, regularly ensuring that any questions are answered and any support they need is readily available. At the same time, you will also be identifying and briefing their support colleague, ensuring that they too are ready and prepared to provide any one-to-one unbiased help during the new employee’s probation period.
You will also ensure that everything logistically is ready for them when they arrive. They have all the equipment they will need; their system logons have been created and checked and their induction is ready and booked.
Whilst you will champion a number of critical steps in introducing a new employee to Eiffage Kier Ferrovial and BAM, your responsibilities extend beyond that 1st day and onto a monitoring phase, keeping contact with them as they find their feet in their new role.
