Our client based just outside Aylesbury are looking for someone who has experience in logistics, they are seeking a highly motivated individual, who has a varied background in this sector.
You will need good IT skills as you will spend time at a PC updating the system with Goods in & out entry's , previous experience using SAP or Sage or other in-house systems are needed, you will also need to be comfortable with physical work handballing on and off vehicles in all weather conditions, other duties include unloading vehicles ( forklift licence useful but not essential if you have other relevant experience training given on forklift )

Hours of work are 8am starts, finishing at the earliest 5.30pm, most days drivers can arrive back late so flexibility is essential. Showing that flexibility will in turn allow you to earn more money in overtime so you will get a chance to increase your income on a weekly basis.
Contracted working hours – Monday-Friday. 8.00am – 5.30pm, holidays – 22 holidays per annum plus bank holidays (Increasing with Length of Service) Pension – 4% contribution match
Key responsibilities:
Managing and assisting in the loading/unloading of vehicles and tie-down of equipment including handballing equipment at times, marshalling vehicles around the yard, goods-in of hire plant, dispatch of hire plant, recording of missing items and damages to plant, exchange of plant, depot transfer of plant, office administration and liaising with the sales team. You must also be flexible to work overtime where necessary (Delivery times can vary at short notice)
