CUSTOMER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

This well established and market leading manufacturer of electronic measuring systems is recruiting for an ambitious and driven Customer Support Technician to initially join them on a remote basis with an eventual view to be working out of their modern Buckingham based facility. Offering an attractive package of £22-28K + 33 Hols + Pension + Annual bonus + Benefits you will be working closely with a portfolio of world leading brands providing technical support of the products via telephone, email and Skype. Experience within the automotive OEM or motorsport industry with a knowledge of vehicle data analysis, vehicle testing and race data analysis would be hugely desirable.

THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will work alongside a global customer base and network of distributors and provide technical support. The Customer Support Technician will need to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and be self motivated with an ability to work unsupervised.

Core deliverables:

* Has worked in the OEM automotive or Motorsport industries and has had some experience of vehicle data analysis, vehicle testing or race data analysis/telemetry

* A clear, concise writing technique and a polite telephone manner

* Customer service experience

* Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting

* A positive attitude and good team working skills

* Full clean UK driving licence

* Has the capability to work from home for the duration of COVID-19 social distancing regulations i.e. fast broadband and a working area away from other noise and distractions.

THE PERSON

The successful candidate will undoubtedly be a self-starter with the desire to take ownership of this key role.

You will also have:-

* An understanding of vehicle data acquisition techniques

* Exposure to vehicle CAN and GPS technologies

* Technology testing experience

* Basic electronics knowledge
