Insight Employment are seeking a Senior Buyer for an automotive client of ours in Milton Keynes.

Role overview: –

As a leading supplier within their field of the Automotive Aftermarket, an exciting position has arisen for a Senior Purchaser to join their busy team based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate would be responsible for making all purchases and working directly with the team and alongside the Purchase Director. This will include liaising with overseas suppliers regarding any supply issues or order solutions. Any experience within this field would be advantageous.

Computer Skill & Software: –

* MAM software (ERP System)

* Excel

* Word

* Phocas (BI System)

* Google Business

Responsibilities: –

* Resolving problems as quick and efficiently as possible when needed

* Due date stock control to be managed so we do not double up stock with 2nd line supply

* Reporting daily to the Purchase Director

* Adjust stock levels as needed, any movement with pricing, quantity break price analysis

* Review the Purchase Order status overall

* Communicate with all Account Managers

* Checking purchase order status

* Run unapproved stock requirements – maintain e-mail order information

* Answering the phone, dealing with a high volume of phone calls

* Responsible for the management of orders, so not to increase individual carriage charges

* Ensure freight costs are kept to a minimum

The successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background.

Salary Range: –

£29k – £35k (dependable on experience)
