We have a new site start-up for one of our existing customers, an iconic blue chip food retailer, would you like to be part of it?
We’re looking to hire a Finance Manager to come in and be responsible for the management accounts and all financial work streams across the site. You’ll be supporting the leadership team to deliver customer service excellence across the start-up, ready for go live late in 2020 – by the time we go live we expect there to be approximately 450 staff across a 360,000 sq. ft warehouse. We’re not looking for someone to tick every box listed below, but we are hunting for a leaders, we’re searching for that ability that can help shape us operationally going forward – we want the cream of talent out there!
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to pay between £45,000 – £50,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
· During start up you will build the site finance team, implementing processes and systems to deliver objectives, playing an active part in the site ethos and strategy
· You will produce both financial and operational management reporting as required for the site, business and customer. This will include P&L statements and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accruals and prepayments are justified and are in line with the accounting standards
· We’ll need you to have involvement in preparation of forecast and budgets, ad hoc variance analysis and integrity of Invoicing and P&L entries
· Partnering with the central finance team, you will help monitor debt relating to the site whilst actioning plans to deal with this in correct fashion
What you need to succeed at XPO:
· You must be CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
· Proven experience in a similar finance management role, ideally in a similar environment that includes open/closed book contracts
