Job responsibilities

This Handyperson role will carry out general, small repairs (e.g. re-fixing door handles, loose hinges/items, replace slats in blinds, shower fixings and rails) working on our FM contract we hold with the Ministry of Justice. You will also carry out tasks such as replacing light bulbs, toilet seat re fixing and replacement as well as small scale movement of furniture and boxes will also be a requirement.

The successful applicant will also carry out maintenance on loose carpeting, hanging and re fixing items to walls, patching paintwork and minor drain blockages. This is not an exhaustive list, but as you can see the role will carry out a varying degree of maintenance work.

To be successful you will need to have experience in a similar all round Handyperson role and be comfortable working within occupied properties.
