About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Training Manager to join our Automotive Training Sector.
This role will see you play a key part in the training operation we run on behalf of our prestigious automotive client – Mazda (MMUK).
You'll be responsible for the strategic collaboration between Babcock and MMUK, and line management of the apprentice and technical training delivery team.
You will also work with Mazda to create and implement a new strategy for the Mazda technical and apprenticeship curriculum.
Implementation of the Electric Vehicle (EV) training within the curriculum as well as supporting Mazda with the execution strategy of rolling EV out to their network
Ensure the training team is developed in line with new curriculum requirements (virtual classrooms, webinars etc.)
Work with Mazda to help create new and innovative ways to delivering non face-to-face training to their network
Manage the Mazda training team to ensure they achieve set KPI's
Present back training data against KPI's to the client
Present forward thinking ideas and strategies which helps support Mazda in their brand transition
What do I need to do the role?
You'll need experience working within in a Training or Automotive environment with strong customer relationship development skills, Project management skills, Budget control, strategic planning, competent at understanding and analysing data and reporting, and able to apply flexibility, imagination, innovation and creative problem solving techniques.
What else do I need to know?
The base location for this role will be Milton Keynes, but there will be weekly travel to the client site in Dartford, Kent.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
