We are currently recruiting for Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our client based in the Milton Keynes area. This position is on a long term basis, starting ASAP with the potential of being extended at the end of the contract or become permanent. Main duties and responsibilities:

To deliver a stimulating and nurturing environment for the children under your care
To work under the person in charge efficiently and contribute to the everyday running of the Nursery
To act as a designated key person, completing observations and planning activities for individual children
To deliver a programme of age-appropriate activities in accordance with the EYFS Curriculum
To adhere to the Nursery Safeguarding Policy and manage the safety of the children in your care at ALL times
To report any accidents to the relevant member of staff in the room you are based in
To build a strong and solid relationship with Parents, children and other staff members

Requirements of the role:

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
Previous experience in a Nursery setting
Knowledge of the EYFS, the seven areas of learning and any other relevant assessment schemes
Able to communicate effectively with other staff members and build positive relationships
Have passion and enthusiasm for providing a fun and stimulating environment for children

Due to the nature of this role, it will be necessary for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken, together with other safeguarding checks, including obtaining references from previous employers.
