Site Engineer. Residential Groundworks and Infrastructure. Experience in using robotic Leica; good setting out and AutoCAD skills. £45-50k + van, good bonuses, phone, and laptop. CSCS essential. Amersham area. Immediate start available. To cover single or multiple sites within daily driving distance.
Site Engineer. Residential Groundworks & Infrastructure on new developments outside the M25 between the M3 and M11. You must have good experience in using robotic Leica equipment. Strong setting out skills, good communication and competence with AutoCAD are all necessary. You need to have a current driving to access the sites, vehicle provided.
The Role. The contractor is currently working on 25 live sites and has further jobs coming live over the next 2-3 months. They need an extra 1 or 2 engineers to take on responsibility for either 1 large or a couple of smaller sites. Working with the foremen to keep the works progressing, providing all the setting out information, carrying out daily checks and keeping records up to date.
The Projects are large residential schemes with 1 to 3 years work ahead. There will be a mix of traditional build and RC frame buildings. The schemes are outside the M25 and are spread from the M3 to the M11.
The Company is a very successful Groundworks and Civil Engineering contractor that works principally for major housing developers, constructing roads, sewers, and groundworks for new estates.
Experience. With probably a minimum of 3-4 years site experience, in order to have enough relevant experience to fulfil the role, you will either have a recognised qualification in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying or be able to demonstrate considerable practical skills in setting out for residential groundworks; being fully conversant with current surveying equipment.
