You will be working for a small friendly company, the working environment is enthusiastic, challenging and fast paced.
We are looking for someone to join the Mechanical department in production
As a Mechanical / Assembly Technician the ideal candidate would definitely have a good hand and eye coordination with demonstrated excellent manual dexterity for precision work
Duties:
Assemble small parts along with strong communication skills
Some heavy lifting required
Track fine details visually and discover defects
Inspection of parts
Ability to read and comprehend schematic engineering drawings
Master new assembly skills
Build and assemble special scientific equipment
Essential requirements
Equivalent qualifications of BTEC level 2 diploma in Mechanical Engineering / NVQ level 3 equivalent or higher or QBE
Ability to read and comprehend schematic engineering drawings
Ability to understand and follow standard operational procedures
High mechanical aptitude
Ability to operate automated equipment, use basic hand tools, and lift up to 25Kg
Preferred Drilling process understanding.
Desirable requirements
Familiarity with computer software (Word, Excel),
Eager and Quick Learner, with a willingness to be a multi-faceted employee,
Be an organized individual,
Be familiar with UK Health & Safety regulations and Workshop Safety
This positon has a starting salary range of £18,000 to £22,000 per annum DOE.The company offers
