I'm currently recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Specialist to join one of my fantastic clients in the Chalfont St Peter area. Please see job description attached. The role is paying £15-20 Per Hour and looking for someone who can start immediately. The ideal candidate need their own transport due to the location of the business.
Job Purpose:
To take full responsibility for management of the monthly payroll. To act as company pensions administrator, analyse the monthly time and attendance data and manage any additional ad hoc payroll related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Not limited to the following:
Prepare and process the monthly payroll for approx 450 employees, using ADP iHCM2
Ensure that all staff are paid accurately and on time in accordance with UK legislation and their terms and conditions
Management of the monthly pension process, auto-enrolment – including file submission to People Pension, including overseeing the final salary pension scheme for its members
Working with our time and attendance system provider (Horizon) to automate processes and analyse, check and upload additional hours to ADP iHCM2 ready for payment
Ensuring full payroll compliance
Raising ad hoc payroll related payments where necessary
Main point of contact for any employee payroll/pension queries and ensure comprehensive responses are sent
Ensure sickness is processed and entitlements are checked, make necessary payroll calculations to be reflected in monthly payroll
Ensure all maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave schedules are set up and payments adhere to statutory requirements
Monthly MI reporting for senior management
Acting as liaison between the finance and HR teams – ensuring a smooth process with no duplication or gaps
Work closely with IT to plan changes and upgrades
Continuously improving and developing payroll (and related) processes to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, efficiency and good practice Skills, experience & qualifications
Essential:
Knowledge and has demonstrable ADP iHCM2 experience
Previous and demonstrable experience of sole control payroll management
Sound knowledge of current payroll UK legislation
Flexibility relating to deadlines
System upgrade/implementation knowledge
Sound pension knowledge, including auto enrolment
Higher level knowledge and can demonstrate use of Microsoft excel Desirable:
