Currently seeking a Shift Quality Controller to working on a 24/7 polymer manufacturing site based in Milton Keynes. As a Quality Controller you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling materials during the manufacturing and conversion process, evaluating finished products again set specifications. This role will operate on a shift pattern as follows, 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off.

To be considered for this Shift Quality Controller you will have at least 3 years' experience spent within manufacturing ideally from the chemicals or polymer manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Test samples according to the testing schedule and specifications.
Adjust formulas when required to achieve the specifications efficiently.
Ensure all HSE standards are maintained, reporting and hazards or unsafe incidents.
Report any breakdowns, malfunctions or border line test results.
Maintain equipment and apparatus to a high standard.
Assist the rest of production in activities such as monitoring lines and helping with clean downs.Knowledge and Experience

Minimum 3 years industrial experience spent within manufacturing within the chemicals, polymer, FMCG or materials sectors.
GCSE's in Maths and English (A-C's).
Strong communications and problem solving skills
