Business Development Manager – Food Packaging required for a well-established manufacturer Food Processing and Packaging Equipment including X-Rays, Metal Detectors and Checkweighers. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a technical background in the industry, to join their team.
The successful Sales Manager will be required travel throughout the UK to attend customer sites in order to promote and sell Food Processing and Packaging machinery to Food Manufacturers.
Business Development Manager – Food Packaging Machinery Position Overview
Working towards Financial Sales targets in a commission driven role
Providing technical solutions to new and existing customers with a technical engineering approach
Providing reports and sales progress updates using CRM software
Creating and submitting proposals to customers
Producing Sales forecasts and assisting the development of sales strategies
Developing relationships with new customers and cementing existing relationships with existing accounts
Business Development Manager – Food Packaging Machinery Position Requirements
Previous experience within the Food Processing and / or Packaging industry
Proven background within a Business Development / Area Sales Management role
Positive attitude and highly self-motivated
Technical background in the industry is desirable
Excellent communication skills
Based in the Buckinghamshire,Oxfordshire, West Midlands, Northants, Herts, Leicestershire, Bedfordshire areas
Full UK Clean Driving License
Business Development Manager – Food Packaging Machinery Position Remuneration
Salary £35,000 – £50,000 – Dependent upon experience + Commission Structure
