I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage a couple of schemes in N London/Home Counties and Oxford.

My client is a well known specialist in the reinforced concrete structures contracting industry and they are looking to strengthen their commercial team. Despite the current climate their order book looks healthy and thus this role can offer long-term stability if this is what you require.

You will need at least 3-5 years experience with a groundwork/rc frame contractor and will be able to work under your own initiative- there will be commercial support but I need someone who can be proactive and take ownership of these projects.

Please note that my client, as is often the case in the rc frame industry, will not be interested in applications from candidates who do not have specialist groundworks/RC frame subcontracting experience.

On offer is a decent rate or salary and package if you prefer to work on a permanent basis. Furthermore there is a good chance for career progression and personal development- my client is one of the contractors in the medium range size wise and upward movement is often quicker in the non-corporate businesses.

My client typically undertakes packages between £1-10 m.
