We are looking for Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers for a growing FMCG company who have seen huge investment in recent years. A change in leadership and restructure has opened up a plethora of opportunities throughout the site, particularly in Engineering.
An FMCG background is necessary (Food Manufacturing is even better) and the ability to start sooner rather than later is desirable.
Required: HND/HNC qualification
Day to day responsibilities will include:
* Making suggestions for new projects or working practices to ensure continual improvement in all areas
* Carrying out all Planned Preventative Maintenance
* Monitoring the performance of the machinery and equipment, and to be pro-active in avoiding downtime
* Ensuring that any routine day to day engineering tasks (e.g. breakdowns, servicing and maintenance work) are priorities to be agreed with other stakeholders
* Working closely with your colleagues to ensure the communication of all safety issues, quality and machinery problems that might affect safety issues, quality and machinery problems that might affect safety or performance standards
