Service Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer of attachments for plant machinery in the Aylesbury area. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have previous experience within a service engineer role and within a similar industry. This will be a mobile position mostly covering the Midlands and Home Counties. You would be undertaking the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of customer's equipment nationwide on a wide range of mobile plant machinery.

Service Engineer Position Overview

To service and repair machinery attachments nationwide in the field and in depot at Aylesbury.
To identify mechanical and hydraulic problems using technical knowledge, offering guidance and advice to the customer.
To carry out all work in line with warranty guidelines or quotations and time guides, highlighting to customer and management where additional work may be required.
Accurate completion of diagnosis reports of failures and work carried out for warranty review.
To identify and obtain parts for your work as necessary and return any warrantable parts in clean condition for return to supplier.
To carry out duties in a commercially focused way, seeking additional revenue through parts and service opportunities.

Service Engineer Position Requirements

Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant and their attachments.
Proven experience in Workshop and Site Welding – MIG and stick.
Proven experience in ability to diagnose and analyse faults
Forklift licence desirable
