Purpose of Role

Responsible for building electro-mechanical assemblies and using automated test equipment to the required quality standards, whilst working to customer delivery deadlines

Key Responsibilities

* Functional test of production products. Identifying issues, analysing faults and rectifying

* Conduct analysis and repair to agreed quality standards and within deadlines in accordance with agreed Production procedures

* Carry out mechanical repair and refurbishment of equipment

* Build of mechanical assemblies including rework and repair

* Responsible final self- inspection

* Support team building and promote good working relations through example and good practice

* Support colleagues in the identification of improvement activities and problem solving and participate in appropriate activities on an ad hoc basis

* Report to Supervisor/Team Leader in regards to status of tools and instruments by highlighting expired calibration, damaged tooling, expired PAT etc

* Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and on time

Skills, Qualification and Experience

* Test equipment and tools

* Use a PC & ERP systems

* Minimum of HNC in Engineering discipline or equivalent

* Knowledge of mechanical handling

* Sound computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Experience of working with ERP system
