High Risk Residential Building – Team Manager
Full Time – 37 hours
Permanent Contract
Location – Marlow Fire Station, Brigade Headquarters in Aylesbury or in Milton Keynes Offices
£41,166 – £42,208 per annum

The successful applicant will ideally be an experienced Fire Safety professional, who has extensive knowledge of the built environment and partnership working.

They will manage the Service’s approach to High Risk Residential Buildings across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, coordinating its Risk Based Inspection Programme.

Working with Responsible Persons, Local Authorities, public and private sector developers, landlords and residents, they will be develop relationships within the public and private sector, focusing on the highest risk areas of the built environment. Managing a small team, the successful applicant must be proactive, enthusiastic and be able to work on their own and as part of a team.

You will be able to interpret and apply Fire Safety legislation in a practical and proportionate way, by addressing any deficiencies appropriately, and advising partners of suitable next steps.

You may be required to attend a number of specialist technical courses remote from your base location. There will also be a regular need to travel to fulfil the areas of responsibility for this role, so a full driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will work either in Marlow Fire Station, Brigade Headquarters in Aylesbury or in Milton Keynes Offices.
