Our client is the world’s largest international children’s charity operating in almost 100 countries. They seek to bring hope to millions of children in the world’s hardest places. They believe that by working together with children, their communities, their supporters and partners, the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children can be transformed.
As a Christian organisation, they aspire to reflect God’s unconditional love in all that they do.
To lead the development and implementation of their cause led, audience focused marketing strategy and facilitate the delivery of exceptional fundraising which inspires new and existing supporters to achieve their give, act and pray ambitions.
Job Purpose
Despite a time of uncertainty, our clients’ donors and child sponsors have remained unwavering in their commitment to their mission and their voluntary income position is proving resilient. Our client has a strong fundraising leadership team in place and your role will be to support this team by ensuring there is a strong strategic purpose behind everything they do.
You will develop and embed an inspiring marketing and fundraising strategy to deliver growth. You will be utilising a range of insights and data, as well as your proven track record of marketing, fundraising and/or strategic planning to inform and develop this strategy.
There will be a direct responsibility for our client’s audience insights, their fundraising products, and their internal fundraising training programme. However, as a key enabling role you will be involved in all areas of their work to engage the UK public, meaning you’ll be in the unique position to influence and shape our client’s whole fundraising programme and the culture of the department. Winning the hearts and minds of stakeholders at every level of the organisation to bring about positive cultural change and ensure they are more than the sum of their parts.
Be assured that you will be well supported to succeed, with subject matter experts in your team and direct access to the resources of the global partnership. As an active Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations. We would particularly welcome applicants from ethnic minority groups, as they are under-represented within the charity at this level.
In addition to the salary offered, our client will offer good benefits including pension, generous holiday entitlement and free parking at their Milton Keynes Office. Like many organisations they’re mainly working remotely right now, and longer-term this role could be carried out in part remotely. The role will have a significant team leadership component to it as well as a strong emphasis on networking and relationship building internally, so the postholder would need to be in the Milton Keynes office 2-3 times per week.
Would you like to use your expertise in fundraising strategy to help them inspire more people to support them, and so see the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children transformed?
