How is your knowledge of semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, power supplies, pcb materials, microprocessors, and connectors?
Well, we need a candidate with good knowledge of the above (not all) to work for a great client of ours, working in the R&D team as they are looking to grow the business in the coming months following continued success on a global scale in their market.
Our client develops, manufactures, and sells high tech solutions to a global customer base, encompassing system architecture, hardware, software, and firmware. They are a market leader in their market, leading the way in the development of their tech.
We are looking for a Component Engineer to join at a very busy time and this role will be critical to the success of their current and future projects.
As Component Engineer you will be responsible for;
– Improving the Component delivery within the business
– Supplying approved component information to sourcing and R&D
– Working in AGILE and ensuring other engineers input accurate data
– Create new component entries for the database and ensure all compliant
– Responsible for providing new component solutions internally and from external parties
The ideal candidate for the role of Component Engineer;
– Degree education in engineering
– Extensive component level experience (as suggested at top of the advert)
– REACH/RoHS compliance understanding
– Advantageous to be able to produce circuit design and fault find
