An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Family Solicitor or Legal Executive who is able to run their own files without supervision. You will be joining a reputable legal practice with a great presence in Buckinghamshire. They are a full-service firm with multiple, sister offices across the UK.
They are seeking a fee earner with a good understanding of the market. You will advise on a variety of matters to include publicly funded and private cases.
Areas of focus will include:
* Fixed Fee Divorce
* Civil Partnership
* Separation Agreements
* Finances
* Children
* Cohabitation Agreements
* Financial Matters for Unmarried Families
* Pre-Nuptial Agreements
* Domestic Violence Injunctions
Duties will include:
* Managing own caseload
* Advising on a variety of privately and publicly funded family matters
* Develop existing caseload in divorce, finance and private children matters
* Drafting legal documentation to include Cohabitation Agreements and Prenuptial Agreements
* Drafting various Court Applications
* Be actively involved in marketing and business development activities
The successful candidate ideally will:
* Be at least newly qualified and have experience of maintaining their own caseload
* Be a law graduate / LPC / training contract or FCILEx
* Be a member of resolution or hold a specialist family accreditation
* Offer sound legal advice to a diverse client base
* Maintain your continuing professional development requirements
* Be self-motivated with a drive to develop the team
* Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm
* Have a positive approach and strong work ethic
